Unspoiled  and peaceful  with a relaxing atmosphere, Folegandros is an ideal  island for families and romantic couples.  It is situated close to popular islands such as Santorini, but it keeps its traditional character. It is one of the most amazing islands of Cyclades.

Getting there

The island of Folegandros can be reached by a conventional ship from Piraeus  or by High-Speed catamaran.

Despite the fact that Folegandros isn’t included in popular and busy destinations,  it offers many choices for hotel accommodation varying from simple rooms to more spacious apartments. The majority of accommodation, is concentrated  in the main port of the island Karavostasi. Apart from the port, the visitor can find a few hotels in Chora which is the capital of the island.

What prevails in the beaches of the island is the tranquility and the natural beauty. The island has a number of quiet beaches, where the holidaymaker can enjoy endless sunbathing and swimming. Some of them are:

*Agali the most popular beach of the island, is sandy with clear waters. For those who want  to spend a few days in the area, there are a few taverns as well as some rooms to let.
